DAY 01 ABROAD - CHENNAI
Upon arrival in Chennai, meet and transfer to hotel.
DAY 02 CHENNAI - MAHABALIPURAM
Morning drive to Mahabalipuram enroute visit Kanchipuram ancient town famous for 1000 Temples. Afternoon visit the 7th century rock cut and shore temples at Mahabalipuram.
DAY 03 MAHABALIPURAM
Day at leisure to explore the surrounding villages.
DAY 04 MAHABALIPURAM - PONDICHERRY
Morning drive to Pondicherry a former French colony displaying a Mediterranean aura, with its beautiful streets and whitewashed houses. Afternoon visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville.
DAY 05 PONDICHERRY - TANJORE
Morning drive to Tanjore. Afternoon visit the famous Tanjore temples.
DAY 06 TANJORE - TRICHY - MADURAI
Drive to Madurai enroute visiting Rock Fort and temples at Trichy.
DAY 07 MADURAI
Visit 17th century Meenakshi temple, one of the biggest temple complex in India. Later visit the market area. Evening witness the pooja ceremony at Meenakshi temple.
DAY 08 MADURAI - PERIYAR
Morning drive to Periyar. Afternoon boat ride in Lake Periyar.
DAY 09 PERIYAR - KUMARAKOM
Drive to Kumarakom a beautiful backwater village. Afternoon at leisure.
DAY 10 KUMARAKOM - COCHIN
Morning drive to Cochin, a splendid mosaic of European influences. Evening Kathakali
dance performance.
DAY 11 COCHIN
Visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Church of St. Francis and the famous Chinese
fishing nets. Afternoon at leisure.
DAY 12 COCHIN - ABROAD
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
