Benaulim Beach

The Benaulim beach is situated at a distance of 41 km away from the state capital of Panaji. One of the most beautiful fishing beaches in Goa, the Benaulim beach starts where the Colva beach ends. It is a nice place to relax as it is not crowded and has partly remained undiscovered by tourists. But it presents a different picture during the weekends when its local population pours into the beach to spend an enjoyable holiday.

However, the Benaulim beach is fast making its presence felt in tourist map going by the number of international tourists who have started coming here. Several resorts and eating joints have also come up in the recent years, which speak volumes about the beach's growing popularity. If you visit the Benaulim beach, don't forget to try out the terrace restaurants that offer a great range of delicious Goan cuisine. You can also visit some famous tourist attractions located nearby like the Nossa Senhora de Merces Church and the church of St John or even witness some of the bullfights Benaulim is famous for.
