Himachal Pradesh, one of the Hill States in India, is well nestled in the laps of Himalayas. The major wildlife sanctuaries are situated in Manali, Kufri, Gopalpur, Kullu, Spiti, Kangra, Chamba, Solan, Sirmour and Shimla.

How to Reach Himachal Pradesh

Bhuntar, Gaggal, and Jubbarhatti- the three airports of Himachal Pradesh connect the state well with Delhi and Chandigarh by regular flights from Indian Airlines. The railway network also connects the state with the major tourist cities in India. The longest railway line in the state is from Jogindernagar in Himachal Pradesh to Pathankot in Punjab. As the state is located in hilly region only few surface routes are recommended.
