From late September to late October the days stay pleasantly warm but get shorter and nights become progressively colder.
 

How To Reach Ladakh

The most convenient way to reach Ladakh is through a flight. Leh is the nearest airport, which is well connected by air to Delhi, Chandigarh and Srinagar. Jammu is the nearest railway station to Ladakh, which is well connected from Delhi. From Jammu you can move to Srinagar by road and then to Ladakh, which is about 430 kilometers from Srinagar.
