Destinations : Delhi - Jaipur - Bikaner - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Mount Abu - Udaipur - Delhi

Duration : 7 nights and 8 days

Tour Plan:

Day 01 : Arrival at Jaipur

As you reach Jaipur, you will be escorted to the hotel where you’ll check in for the days of your stay in Jaipur. On the same day, you will be taken to a tour of the City Palace, one of the significant tourist attractions of the city.

The City Palace is an impressive structure with its many mansions and manicured gardens. The palace ground also contains massive courtyards. After the City Palace, visit the Palace Museum where you can see some extraordinary specimens of the past like manuscripts, dresses and costumes, miniature paintings and carpets. Also see the armors which were once worn by the mighty Rajput warriors.

After that, stroll to nearby Jantar Mantar. It is an astronomical observatory that was built during the 17th century and an example of India’s supremacy in astronomy.

Drive past the Hawa Mahal on your way back to the hotel. Your night will be comfortably spent at the hotel.

Day 02 : Exploring Jaipur

The second day is reserved to let you explore Jaipur and its outskirts. The list includes a visit to Amber Fort, the former capital of Jaipur.

Here you’ll enjoy an elephant ride and behold the mirrored walls of the fort.   Return to the hotel to spend the remaining time at your convenience.

Day 03 : Traveling to Bikaner

Next day, start for Bikaner and reach there after traveling for 7 to 8 hours. Bikaner is located at a distance of 321 kilometers from Jaipur. You will be taken to visit Junagarh Fort upon your arrival.

The fort is unique in many ways. Unlike the other castles of Rajasthan, which are most conveniently built on hilltops, Junagarh Fort is built on the plain land of the Great Indian Desert.

After that, take a tour of the National Camel Breeding Farm, the only one of its kind in the country. You can even catch the magnificent sight of the camel herds returning from their day’s grazing at the backdrop of the setting sun upon the desert.

Check in to a hotel and spend the night there.

Day 04 : Jaisalmer: The royal destination

Jaisalmer is located at the heart of the Indian desert. The journey of 332 kilometers to Jaisalmer takes around 7 to 8 hours to complete. On the way, you will visit Deshnok to pay homage at the Karni Mata Mandir.

In Jaisalmer, you will sign in at a hotel to spend the night there.

Day 05 : Sightseeing of Jaisalmer

The city of Jaisalmer is protected by the walls of Jaisalmer Fort. It happens to be the only fort in India which is still inhabited by people. Thousands of locals still live within its walls. In the morning, you’ll be taken to visit the fort and the many havelis that are unique in Jaisalmer. These havelis are spread lavishly on each side of the narrow cobbled roads of the town.

In the evening, you will get to witness one of the rarest spectaculars of the world, i.e. the sun setting over the sand dunes. Return to the hotel after the day’s excursion and spend the night there.

Day 06 : Continuing journey to Jodhpur

Jodhpur is known as the ‘Blue City’ because of its blue-colored buildings. The city is located at a distance of 285 kilometers from Jaisalmer and the journey will take 6 to 7 hours to complete. Your trip of Jodhpur will cover Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada, the two major sightseeing locations in the city.

Jaswant Thada is an imposing looking white marble tomb built in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh in 1899 AD. Your night will be spent at the hotel.

Day 07 : Udaipur: Land of Maharanas

Today, you will travel to another historical city of Rajasthan, Udaipur. The distance of 259 kilometers will be covered in 6 hours. En route, you will be taken to Ranakpur, one of the most sacred pilgrimage destinations of the Jains. Here you will visit the Jain temples and also the amazing hall that contains 1,444 pillars. Rest at the hotel for the night.

Day 08 : Departure from Udaipur

Your journey ends at Udaipur from where you will catch the transportation that will take you to your next destination. But before that, you’ll be taken on a sightseeing tour of Udaipur.

Your tour of the city will cover the major tourist attractions of the city, namely the City Palace and Museum and the Jagdish Temple. You will then be taken to Sahelion Ki Bari, which is also known as “Gardens of the Maidens”, located on the bank of Lake Pichori.

In the evening, you will be taken to the railway station or airport for your journey back home.
