Day 01: Arrival at Cochin
Our representative will be present at Cochin International Airport or the railway station to greet you upon arrival. You will then be escorted to the hotel where you will check in for the night.
The afternoon has been reserved for a sightseeing trip of Cochin. Visit some of the great places of interest namely Jewish Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in the commonwealth countries, the Dutch Palace at Mattancherry, St. Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets and Bolgatty Palace.
Day 02 : Exotic vacation at Kumarakom
On the second day of your trip you will be taken to Kumarakom, which is located at a distance of 70 kilometers from Cochin. Sign in at the hotel after traveling for 2 hours.
Kumarakom has been included in the list of itineraries to give you a unique backwater experience of Kerala. The place is located at the bank of Vembanad Lake and also houses the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.
The sanctuary is a favorite destination for migratory birds, which gather here during winter. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary attracts a large number of bird watchers and tourists from around the globe.
Kumarakom is also famous for backwater cruising. Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing trip of the place and return to the hotel to spend the night.
Day 03 : Night at Houseboat in Alleppey
After enjoying a breakfast in the hotel get transferred to a houseboat to explore beautiful Alleppey. Spend the day as well as the night in the houseboat.
Kerala houseboats offer unique experience. They are locally called Kettuvallams and traditionally made by binding large wood planks together. A houseboat can measure up to 80 feet in length and contain two bathrooms, lounge, deck and a kitchenette. The crew often comprises oarsmen, guide and a cook. Take taste of traditional Kerala cuisine aboard.
Day 04 : End of journey
Your trip comes to an end on day four. Get transferred to the nearest railway station or airport to board into your homebound transportation.
