Day 1 : Arrival Leh
Arrive at Leh in morning and get transferred to the hotel. In order to get used to the high altitude of Leh you’ll need to spend the full day at rest. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Leh local sightseeing
After breakfast visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery and Stok Palace Museum. After lunch at the hotel, visit Shanti Stupa, Sankar Gompa & Leh Palace and then explore the local markets. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 : Leh-Pangong-Leh
Enjoy a full day excursion to Pangong Lake, located on the Indo-China Border. It is approximately a 300 kms round trip. During the journey you will cross the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). After sightseeing around the lake, you will be taken back to Leh and reach there by late afternoon or evening. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Leh-Nubra Valley
After breakfast you will leave for Nubra Valley and drive across Khardung-La (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, you will go for sightseeing in Sumoor and Samstaling Gompa. Later on you can check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit/Hundar for an overnight stay in a fixed camp or hotel.
Day 5: Nubra Valley-Leh
In the morning you will visit and explore Deskit, Hundar and Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camels found here. Later you may drive back to Leh and get there by late afternoon or evening. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Leh-Alchi / Uleytokpo: (70 kms.)
After a nice breakfast, you will leave for Alchi / Uleytokpo on the first leg of the journey to Kargil and Srinagar. On the way you will visit the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point, Sangam, which is the confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers and then the 11th century Alchi Choskor, which is the oldest surviving monastic complex in the area. It is famous for its wall frescoes and architecture and is a heritage site listed in UNESCO. Stay overnight in fixed camp or resort at Uleytokpo.
Day 7 : Uleytokpo- Lamayuru-Kargil (135 kms.)
After breakfast you will leave for Kargil. On the way you can visit the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining “Moonland” hills. Later on drive towards Kargil and en route view Maitreya Buddha, a 9 meter tall rock sculpture at Mulbek. It was built during 7th –8th century AD. Stay overnight at a hotel in Kargil.
Day 8 : Kargil-Sonamarg-Srinagar (205kms)
Early morning you will depart for Srinagar and drive through Drass that is famous for being the second coldest inhabited place in the world. You will also cross the Zoji-la Pass (11,500-ft. / 3,505 m) and reach Sonamarg from where it is a smooth 2-hour drive to Srinagar through the beautiful Kashmir countryside. You will stay overnight at Srinagar.
Day 9 : Departure Srinagar
Early in the morning you will be taken to the airport for the flight back home.

TRANSPORT : The pricing is for groups involving 2, 4 and 6 people sharing 1 car ( NAC Qualis/Xylo/Scorpio / Innova etc.). Please note we do not use smaller cars in Ladakh due to the topographical factor, which requires heavy vehicles.
The following points are to be noted for Child Rate:

Complimentary rates are applicable for children younger than 5 years.
