Leh, Khardungla & Pangong Lake
Duration : 05 Nights & 06 Days
Day 1: Arrive at Leh
Arrival at Leh by morning flight and get transferred to the hotel. You can spend rest of the day at leisure so that you can be acclimatized to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft/ 35 00 mtrs). Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Leh local sightseeing
After a hearty breakfast, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery & Stok Palace Museum. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 3: Leh-Pangong Lake-Leh
Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approximately 300 kms round trip and located near the Indo-China Border). During the journey you will be crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.) After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh, reaching late afternoon/evening. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Leh-Alchi-Leh
After a heavy breakfast, drive to the 11th century Alchi Choskor, which is the oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While returning to Leh from here, visit Sangam (confluence of Indus and Zanskar River), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) and Hall of Fame. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 : Leh-Khardungla –Leh
You will go on a morning excursion to Khardung-La (80 kms round trip / alt: 18,380 ft.). It has been stated in the Guinness Book of World Records that it is the highest pass where one can use a car. Explore the local markets for the rest of the day and shop as much as you like. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 : Drop to Leh Airport
Early morning you will be transferred to the airport for taking the flight back home.

TRANSPORT : The pricing is for groupings of 02, 04 & 06 people sharing 1 car ( NAC Qualis/Xylo/Scorpio/Innova etc.). Please note we do not use smaller cars in Ladakh due to the topographical factor, which requires heavy vehicles.
The following points are to be noted for Child Rate:

Children 10+ years and above will be considered as adult.

Children of 5+ to 10 years sharing parent’s room will be charged as per Child without Extra bed

Complimentary rates are used in case of children below 5 years.
(Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced when asked).
