Schedule of the tour :
Day 01: Arrival at Cochin
At the beginning of your tour you will reach Cochin railway station or airport where you will be greeted by our friendly tour operator. You will then be escorted to your hotel at Munnar where you’ll check in for a night’s stay. Munnar is 153 kilometers from Cochin and the journey will take 5 hours and so the rest of the day is kept free to let you recoup your strength.
Day 02: Experiencing Munnar
Your journey begins after breakfast. The entire day is devoted to sightseeing in Munnar. It will cover some of the most famous tourist attractions in the region, namely Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, and Rajamalai. The itinerary also covers Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary in Rajamalai.
This sanctuary is the home of rare Nilgiry Thar, a kind of mountain goat that can be found in this region only. The wildlife sanctuary also plays a curial role in preserving the flora and fauna of the region and maintaining the ecological balance. You’ll also be taken to a tea plantation during the tour.
Return to the hotel to spend the night.
Day 03: Returning to Cochin and departure
On the last day get back to Cochin where you will be taken to the railway station or airport to catch your transport to return home.
Hotel accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided at a 3 star hotel. At Munnar you will check in at hotel Hill View or Las Palmas for 2 nights’ stay.
