Munnar, Cochin and Thekkady

Package expenses : A standard package will cost INR 6199 per person for a tour that lasts 3 nights and 4 days. In case of a deluxe package of same duration this sum will go up to INR 7599 per individual.
Tour schedule
Day 1: Arrival at Cochin
As soon as you arrive at the airport or railway station at Cochin you will be welcomed by our representative. Then you will be taken to a resort in Munnar, which is 153 kilometers from Cochin. This distance can be covered in 5 hours in car. After you sign in at the hotel you will be free to spend the day as you see fit. Your first night will be spent at that hotel.
Day 2: Explore Munnar
After you complete your breakfast you will go for a sightseeing tour across Munnar. This full day experience will include some of the finest tourist attractions in this part of Kerala such as Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, Blossom Garden, Echo Point, Rajamalai, Kundale Lake and Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to Nilgiri Tahrs, a rare species of mountain goats.
Apart from the above mentioned sites of tourist interest you will visit the local tea plantation. You will spend the night at the Munnar hotel.
Day 3: Destination Thekkady
Once you finish your breakfast you will be driven to Thekkady, which is 120 kilometers away and takes 4 hours to cover in car. After arriving at Thekkady, check in at the hotel, where you will rest for the night, and take some much needed rest to recharge your batteries.
Afterwards you will head for a tour of the local spice plantations. Here you will see cardamom, pepper and cinnamon crops. Apart from that the trip includes visits to nearby tea and coffee plantations. Later on, go for a boating tour of Periyar Lake.
This lake is man made and located at a height of 2000 feet. It is the best attraction at Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and provides you with a magnificent view of the tiger reserve in Periyar. However, this program is optional and you can return to your hotel instead for some rest and relaxation.
Day 4: Destination Cochin
Having completed your breakfast you will head to Cochin that lies at a distance of 200 kilometers away. It is a 5 hour journey in car. You will be taken directly to the airport or railway station for your train or flight for the next destination.
Points to remember:
- You will be staying at 3 star hotel or resort
- At Munnar you will stay at Pearl Green Resort or a similar facility for a couple of nights. Here you will be provided breakfasts
- You will stay at Micheles Inn or an equivalent accommodation option at Thekkady for one night. You will receive breakfast
