Day 01 : Arriving at Bangalore
As you arrive at Bangalore, our tour conductor meets you at the airport or railway station. From there you will be taken to your hotel to check in. Later in the day, set out for a sightseeing trip of the city. You will visit the prominent tourist places like Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, Bull Temple, Ulsoor Lake, Cubbon Park, and Vidhana Soudha. You will also be taken to Tippu Sultan’s Palace.
Day 02 : Visiting Mysore
The trip to Mysore, which is 140 kilometers from Bangalore, will take 3 hours to commute by car. So, you’d need to start early in the morning. During the journey, you’ll pay a visit to Srirangapatnam. It was a fortress island that served as the capital city of Hyder Ali and Tippu Sultan. Here you will also see Tippu Sultan’s Palace, Gumbaz, and Tippu Sultan’s Summer Palace. From there you’ll continue your journey to Mysore.
After reaching Mysore, check in at a hotel where you’ll also stay for the night. In the evening, you’ll be taken to see the illuminated Brindavan Gardens. Visit the Krishnarajasagar Dam as well.
Day 03 : Sightseeing at Mysore
In the morning, you’ll be taken to visit Maharaja’s Palace, which is an imposing structure with ivory inlaid entrances. The interior of the palace is also expensively decorated with stained glass murals, mirrors, carved pillars, paintings, jewels and precious stones. Later you will be taken to Chamundi Hills and here you can witness the huge statue of Nandi Bull.
Day 04 : From Mysore to Ooty
On day four, you will start for Ooty right after the breakfast. The 160 kilometer journey will take 4 hours. On your way to Ooty, you will visit Bandipur and Madumallai Wildlife Sanctuary. Drive past fresh tea plantations as well. Sign in at a hotel in Ooty. The second half of the day is reserved for a sightseeing tour of Ooty that includes visits to the Ooty Lake, Botanical Gardens, and Doddabetta, the highest peak of Nilgiri Hills. Spend the night in the hotel.
Day 05 : Coonoor
You will be taken to Coonoor today for a trip to the tea gardens. Here you will also visit Sim’s Park and Dolphin Nose. Return to Ooty in the evening and spend a blissful night in the hotel.
Day 06 : Departure from Coimbatore
Coimbatore is 90 kilometers from Ooty and on the last day of your tour, you’ll be taken to the railway station or the airport for your onwards journey.
