Besides these, sambhars is a common sight in the Park, including the other small carnivores like Bengal fox, jackal, striped hyena, civet, blackbuck, chital, boar.
Various old forts also make a visit to Bharatpur interesting like the strongly built, Lohagarh Fort, that includes small monuments like Kishori Mahal and Moti Mahal in its vicinity. The place also has some temples like, Bankebihari Temple, and draws a lot of tourist attraction. Bharatpur is also famous for its unique festivals and fairs, which are full of entertainment and cultural activities.

In Bharatpur you can enjoy a Jeep safari inside the National Park, while clicking pictures of some rare birds and feeding the monkeys. In the Lohagarh Fort you can have a splendid view of the majestic era of Rajasthani Jat rulers. The fort is famous for its strong infrastructure, and you can have an adventurous, exploring time in the area, while discovering the aesthetic beauty of the paintings and surrounding gardens. The city of Deeg in Bharartpur is also famous for its interesting forts, gardens and resorts. You can have a bonfire party in the night and just explore the charm of Bharatpur.
In the month of February or March, before Holi, Bharatpur offers, Brij Mahotsav, which is full of fun, colors and gaiety, with dancers performing the Raslila Dance in colorful attires and include the tourists in their fun filled activities.
